About the Event

Band of Brothers Outdoors is honored to invite veterans to a relaxing and rewarding weekend retreat in the heart of Ottertail County, Minnesota. This event is designed to provide a peaceful outdoor experience centered around fishing, camaraderie, and well-deserved time to unwind.

Whether you’re an experienced angler or simply looking to enjoy time outdoors with fellow veterans, this weekend offers a stress-free environment to reconnect, recharge, and build lasting friendships.

What to Expect

Your weekend will begin with check-in at the Otter Supper Club in Ottertail, Minnesota, where you will be welcomed by BOBO staff member Jon Undem. Lodging for the weekend will be provided at the Otter Supper Club.

From there, transportation will be provided to a nearby campground where the evening will kick off with a great meal and a relaxed social gathering with fellow veterans.

After the evening activities, transportation will be available back to the Otter Supper Club so you can get a good night’s rest before the main event.

The following morning, experienced volunteers will meet you and transport you to one of Ottertail County’s beautiful lakes for a full day on the water. This guided fishing experience is designed to be enjoyable for all skill levels—whether you’re chasing fish or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings.


At the conclusion of the day, you’ll be returned to the Otter Supper Club.


There is a possibility of an additional half-day fishing opportunity on Sunday morning (Pending weather and veteran interest ) which will be confirmed as planning is finalized.
