About The Event

Veteran Bowfishing Night Ortonville, MN

Band of Brothers Outdoors, along with our dedicated volunteers, is proud to once again host our highly successful Veteran Bowfishing Night in Ortonville, Minnesota.

Last year’s event was a huge success, with boats full of fish and veterans enjoying an unforgettable night on the water. We are excited to bring this opportunity back and provide another evening of camaraderie, good food, and fast-paced bowfishing action.

Whether you are brand new to bowfishing or have experience already, this event is designed to be fun, welcoming, and beginner-friendly. No prior experience is required.

Registration

Registration Opens: April 5, 2026 at 1pm

Registration Closes: April 22, 2026 at 6:00 AM

About the Event

Veterans will meet in Ortonville for a brief introduction to bowfishing before enjoying a meal together. After that, participants will head to the lake for an exciting night of bowfishing for rough fish.

This trip offers a great opportunity to try something new in a relaxed and supportive environment. With plenty of shooting opportunities and no previous experience required, this event is a great fit for both first-timers and returning participants.

If you have ever wanted to experience nighttime bowfishing, this is the perfect event to give it a try.


Equipment

Bows will be set up and ready for veterans to use during the event. You do not need to bring your own equipment.

Veterans who already own their own bowfishing equipment are welcome to bring it if they prefer.

Lodging

No lodging will be provided for this event.

Veterans who wish to stay overnight on Saturday are welcome to arrange their own lodging in the Ortonville, Minnesota area.


Veteran Responsibilities

Participants will be responsible for:

  • Their own transportation to and from the event

  • A valid fishing license

  • Any snacks or beverages they wish to bring on the boat
