Winter Camping Introduction 2024

Ever wanted to winter camp?  Ever wanted to know how to set up camp, cut firewood, cook over an open fire or on a wood stove?  This is your chance to learn some of the skills of winter camping!  We will set up in an easy to get to area for those with physical limitations.   We will be set up in hot tents with wood stoves, tent floors and be sleeping on cots in sleeping bags.  We will have breark out sessions to learn the basics of camping in the winter.  Packing a sled, snowshoeing, setting up and cooking on a wood stove or open fire, camp break down and winter survival.   This is a very limited space event for those looking to get into something new.  

This is a great event to relax, learn and enjoy the comradarie of being military veterans. Join us for this once in a lifetime event that will leave you asking your self here and when you can buy a hot tent.
