Spring Sturgeon fishing on the beautiful Rainy River with Band of Brothers Outdoors and our volunteers. This years trip will take place from May 6 - 8th.  This trip is generally a full day on Saturday and a half day on Sunday of fishing on the Rainy River near International Falls MN. 

Veterans will be responsible for transportation to and from the event.  Lodging will be provided in International Falls MN and veterans will be responsible for transportation to and from the boat ramp each day.  The boat ramp is approximately 12 miles from the hotel. Veterans will need to plan accordingly for weather conditions for this weekend.  You will also need to have a rod and reel that are set up for Sturgeon fishing.  This will consist of a heavy rod with high weight test line as well as large circle hooks and a non rolling weight.  Please make sure you have a valid MN fishing license with you as well.  This will be during harvest season, if you wish to harvest you will need a valid sturgeon tag.
